LOW-CARB PIZZA

What kind of person doesn’t love pizza?  A weirDOUGH.

I absolutely love pizza, and this low-carb/ diabetic friendly pizza hits the spot.

Ingredients:

Crust:

  1. 1 medium/ large squash (spiralized and / or chopped)
  2. 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  3. 3 tbsp eggwhites
  4. basil seasoning 

Toppings:

  1. Tomato Basil Sauce
  2. Tomato
  3. Italian seasoning
  4. mozzarella cheese
  5. some form of already cooked protein (chicken, turkey sausage or bacon)

Directions:

  1. Spiralize 1 medium/ large squash 
  2. In Bowl, mix together squash + egg whites + cheese + basil seasoning
  3. Cook on stove and flip at low/ medium temperature until eggs are cooked
  4. Top with sauce + tomato seasoning + cheese + protein
