Eggs for Breakfast

We can and we should eat eggs as a diabetic A study published in the International Journal of Obesity found that overweight and obese people who were given two eggs a day for breakfast lost 65% more weight than those who ate a similar breakfast without eggs. The researchers found that eating the eggs may help control your hunger by reducing the post meal insulin response. This appetite control prevents large fluctuations in glucose and insulin levels.

With this said, I recommend mixing in eggs with your breakfast. I am a big fan of eggs in the morning, and I will be sharing different recipes that I like on Diabetes Strength!
